Everything you need to get started with Inmails.

Quick Start

Get up and running in under 5 minutes:

  1. Download Inmails for your platform (Mac or Windows)
  2. Run the installer and open the app
  3. Create your account and start your free trial
  4. Log into your LinkedIn account inside the app
  5. Import your leads (CSV or Google Sheets)
  6. Write your message template and hit send

Installation

macOS: Download the .dmg file and drag Inmails to your Applications folder. Requires macOS 12 (Monterey) or later.

Windows: Download the .exe installer and follow the setup wizard. Requires Windows 10 64-bit or later.

The app will auto-update when new versions are available. You can also check for updates manually from the app menu.

LinkedIn Login

Inmails includes a built-in browser where you log into LinkedIn normally. Your session stays entirely on your local machine — no credentials are sent to any server.

If you have two-factor authentication enabled on LinkedIn, you will be prompted as usual. The app supports all standard LinkedIn authentication flows.

Importing Leads

You can import leads in two ways:

CSV Upload: Drag and drop a CSV file or use the file picker. The app will auto-detect column names. Required columns: LinkedIn URL or profile identifier, first name.

Google Sheets: Connect your Google account via OAuth and select a spreadsheet. Changes sync automatically — add new rows to your sheet and they'll appear in your campaign.

Sending Messages

Create a campaign with one or more message variants for A/B testing. Use merge fields like {{firstName}} to personalise each message.

The app sends messages with human-mimicking behaviour: natural typing speed, realistic mouse movements, and random delays between actions. Each message is typed character-by-character, not pasted.

Reply Detection

Inmails automatically scans your inbox for replies to messages sent through campaigns. Replies are classified by keyword matching into categories: interested, not interested, out of office, or other.

You can configure auto-reply templates for each category. Templates rotate automatically to avoid repetition.

Scheduling

Set sending windows to control when messages go out. Configure business hours, time zones, and daily limits. The app uses a sliding 24-hour window for limits — not a midnight reset.

Smart scheduling distributes sends across your configured windows with natural variation, so your activity pattern looks organic.

Safety & Limits

Inmails is designed to be the safest LinkedIn automation tool available:

  • Local execution — runs on your machine, your IP, your browser fingerprint
  • No injection — no JavaScript injected into LinkedIn pages
  • Adaptive limits — automatic rate-limit detection with exponential backoff
  • Daily variation — randomised limits (±10%) to avoid pattern detection
  • Human timing — Gaussian distribution on all delays, not fixed intervals

FAQ

Is it safe for my LinkedIn account?

Yes. Inmails runs locally with human-mimicking behaviour. We've tested across 50+ campaigns with zero account bans.

Do I need Sales Navigator?

You need at least one Sales Navigator licence. Founding members receive a free licence.

How many messages can I send per day?

With a single licence, approximately 50/day. With multiple stacked licences, hundreds per day. The app manages limits automatically.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No contracts. Cancel from your Stripe billing portal. Your founding price stays locked for as long as you remain subscribed.
